AOC Foundation to Participate in the 2025 Combined Federal Campaign
The AOC Foundation has been approved as a participating charity in the 2025 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), making it easier than ever for federal employees and contractors, retirees, and service members to support military and defense education and innovation.
Starting October 1, federal workers can contribute to the AOC Foundation (CFC# 72037) through the CFC’s convenient payroll deduction system. The AOC Foundation invests in soldiers, our military, and the future of global defense by providing grants and scholarships to military enlisted personnel, veterans, and undergraduate students pursuing studies in electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, and defense-related disciplines.
About the Combined Federal Campaign
Each fall, federal employees and retirees raise money and volunteer for charities through the Office of Personnel Management’s workplace giving campaign, the Combined Federal Campaign. This longstanding tradition demonstrates that federal employees’ commitment to public service extends far beyond the workplace.
President John F. Kennedy formalized the CFC with an Executive Order in 1961, streamlining workplace fundraising and introducing payroll deduction. Since its inception, the CFC has raised more than $9 billion for charities and people in need during its 60+ year history, making it one of the largest and most successful workplace giving campaigns in the world.
Why Give Through the CFC?
The CFC offers federal employees several advantages for charitable giving:
- Payroll deduction for greater impact over time.
- Multiple charity support and volunteer hour pledging in one place.
- Collective impact create positive change through unified giving.
- Streamlined giving that maximizes happiness and community benefit.
Thanks to the generosity of federal employees, participating charities receive the funding they need to help those in need in communities nationwide and beyond.
As federal employees plan their donations through this year’s CFC, they can now include the AOC Foundation in their giving strategy. The foundation’s focus on supporting military personnel and students in critical disciplines aligns with national security priorities and workforce development needs.
