Statement from AOC on the Crash at Edwards Air Force Base

The Association of Old Crows extends our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the eight individuals who lost their lives in the B-52 Stratofortress crash at Edwards Air Force Base on June 15, 2026. The aircraft was supporting radar modernization efforts when the incident occurred shortly after takeoff.

Those who serve in our military push the boundaries of what’s possible to keep our nation safe, often at great personal risk. Our hearts go out to everyone touched by this tragedy, including the broader Edwards AFB and Air Force family.

AOC stands with our spectrum warfighter community during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those grieving this profound loss.
