Annapolis Micro Systems, a leading COTS board and systems supplier, has recorded its largest order ever – a combined $61.6M for RFSoC & Versal™-Based Solutions for 3U OpenVPX Airborne Electronic Warfare (EW). The orders include SOSA™-aligned FPGA Boards, Mezzanine Cards, Switches, Chassis, Backplanes and Chassis Managers.
The multi-year orders come from two repeat customers: a major Applied Research Laboratory and a Top-10 Defense Contractor.
“Airborne EW is extremely challenging due to the requirement to process and respond to threats in real time, all while operating in an extreme environment that needs to be optimized for size, weight, power and cost (SWaP-C). Customers come to us because we have decades of experience delivering advanced EW capabilities that are deployed around the world in must-not-fail applications,” said Annapolis CTO Noah Donaldson.
These orders put Annapolis on course for a record-breaking revenue year.

This renovation follows a manufacturing overhaul in 2020, when Annapolis upgraded its 16,000-square-foot surface-mount technology production facility to state-of-the-art.
