Theatre Replication for Advanced Training (THREAT).
Under the terms of the contract, D-TA Systems will design, manufacture, and deliver a proof of concept for a new generation of electronic warfare range equipment that will empower training of Belgian Defence pilots. - Advanced Technology: The newly developed equipment will leverage I/Q data streaming providing high fidelity signals with virtually unlimited emitter density on each node. Multiple nodes will be deployed in a test range with a common command & control.
- Versatility: Designed to be setup by two people in under 60 minutes from arrival at site to transmission of emitter signals.
- Precision Testing: The THREAT system will provide tracking and pointing of emulators at aircraft for precise and comprehensive evaluation of electronic warfare systems, tactics, and procedures on a flying range.
