AFRL Issues RFI for Electromagnetic Pulse System to Counter UAS Threats

The Air Force Research Lab’s Information Directorate (Rome, NY) has published a Request for Information (RFI) for ground and aerial electromagnetic pulse (EMP) systems that can be used for counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) applications. The RFI seeks information about the landscape of industry R&D on EMP systems that can counter multiple Group 1, 2 and 3 UAS threats. The soliciation number is RFI-RIKD-24-01.
